2021 - 2023 Stampin' Up IN COLORs

Updated: Jun 9, 2021

How exciting to finally have my hands on the new Stampin' Up In Colors. Have you seen them yet?

Well, ya need to, they are gorgeous.

  • Fresh Freesia

  • Polished Pink

  • Pale Papaya

  • Soft Succulent

  • Evening Evergreen

Here is a quick sample that I made using the colors and are listed from left to right. I've also used the fun Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and one of the new In Color Ribbons in Fresh Freesia which is an open weave ribbon and just a lovely ribbon to work with.

Card Base:

8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"

First Layer:

Gorgeous Grape cardstock 4-7/8" x 3-5/8"

Focus Layer:

Basic White cardstock- 4-3/4" x 3-1/2",

Using the A block, stamp the block into the inks one at a time. Take the first ink and stamp the block into the ink pad and spritz with water, and add to basic white cardstock in a pattern of your choice. I offset the pattern just slightly to add some style. Do that for each of the five colors of ink. Stamp HAPPY BIRTHDAY at the bottom, leave a space in between for the ribbon. Add the ribbon by making a bow, with long enough tail to tape in the back of the cardstock. Use adhesive to mount all the layers together.

Voila...You finished your card.

You can also add a white base inside the card for the sentiment and a fun image, and you can also decorate the envelope flap. I haven't done that with this card, but I will be showing more in the future, so come on back.
